Mr. Marriott is our founder, President, and CET (Chief Elephant Trainer). Mr. Marriott has been in the promotional products industry for over 20 years and has been involved in advertising for 30 years. Mr. Marriott holds a bachelors degree in marketing with a minor in sociology and a business master’s degree, both from the University of Utah. Mr. Marriott has completed three years of post-graduate study in research design, statistics, organizational behavior and cause related marketing.

Mr. Marriott started his first promotional products business in 1982 in Salt Lake City (Marriott Promotions) and says he’s having more fun and doing more creative work now than ever. Mr. Marriott has served in a variety of leadership positions within the promotional products industry. He continues to expand his knowledge of the promotional products industry through educational workshops and industry sponsored events, and is in the rare company of less than 1% of industry professionals certified as a Master Advertising Specialist*.

Mr. Marriott is a published author and frequent speaker on a variety of topics. He is available for industry, and community presentations on seventeen different topics. In addition to industry seminars, Mr. Marriott teaches bachelors and masters level marketing and entrepreneurship classes at local colleges and universities, and is a frequent guest lecturer in small business development seminars for the U.S. Small Business Administration.

When not working, Mr. Marriott enjoys writing, camping, fishing and travel.

Linda A. Marriott - CDO

Mrs. Marriott is the CDO of Purple Elephant Promotions. She focuses her energies on web development and content, trade show exhibiting, and general management. Mrs. Marriott has been instrumental in the implementation of our new web design and development. Mrs. Marriott also coordinates special projects, and is currently acting as a regional sales manager.

Mrs. Marriott holds bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Utah. She has been involved in communications for over fifteen years and is a certified speech and language pathologist. Mrs. Marriott teaches peers in a variety of topics and settings.

When not working, Mrs. Marriott enjoys Utah Jazz basketball, crocheting and travel.

Noni Boyle – Corporate Office Manager

Mrs. Boyle manages the details of our busy corporate office and supervises our accounting and ethics departments. Mrs. Boyle also coordinates our contracts and relationships with banks. factories, representatives, and authorized dealers.

Jordan Atwood – Catalog Manager

Mr. Atwood manages our catalog filing room and provides additional marketing support as needed. He has leadership experience with the Boy Scouts of America and local high school educational programs. Mr. Atwood also supervises research for specific items and supports the team on larger projects. Mr. Atwood is also responsible for database management of our various databases, and works on special marketing campaigns.

Less than 4% of industry professionals hold either designation and less than 1% hold the MAS designation. The MAS/CAS signifies an individual has reached and continues to meet a higher standard of professionalism, knowledge and experience within the industry. Since less than four percent of industry professionals hold a MAS/CAS these certifications set those who earn them apart from the competition.
